Wow, Wow, Wow!!!!!!!! What a weekend this was, I have trouble putting it into words! Regional weekend, is probably one of my favourite weekends of the year! It's so nice to be surrounded by hundreds of people who have the same passion as you. It's so nice to see that I am not the only one out there with a big butt and big legs. It's nice to know that beer bellies on guys don't have to be part of growing up! It's nice to know that people like to live a happy healthy lifestyle!!
I decided I would put together a top 5 best moments of the weekend for you guys! Who am kidding there is way more top 5 moments then that!! Pfffffff
TOP 5
5. It was the last workout of the weekend, rope climbs and squat cleans! Team workout. This chick couldn't get up the rope. Exhausted, muscle failure, what ever, she was trying her best, she was attempting to climb the rope but she would never make it to the top. All the teams were passing by and getting through the workout. The announcer went up to her spot and asked the crowd to cheer her on for one rope climb. Guess what happened.... She got up, touched the post and made it! She would now move on to her squat cleans! That was amazing! Truly great!
4. It was the boys 100 workout. Quite the gruelling WOD, these boys were attacking it, getting it done, and working their way up all the way to that last one hand dumbbell snatch. In that heat, everyone was so close, and everyone was in the snatches when time ran out. What happened after the horn went on, was the moment. ALL the guys dropped to the floor like little flies! At the same time. These are the best men in Canada East and they are falling to the ground... That workout must be a killer. Way to go boys!
3. Lucas Proulx. This kid, 20 years of age, dressed in his Led Zeppelin T-shirt, his purple jordan shorts and these really ugly white sneakers impressed me. He was fast, he was smart, and went hard on every workout. When he finished the chipper with only 5 seconds left... that was cray cray! Good job buddy! I can't wait to see you go again next year! Pfff so young, so talented!
2. The Michelle Letendre and Camille Leblanc-Bazinet battle. Wholy balls ! These girls are awesome. All weekend long they were battling for a first place. The chipper WOD with the front rack lunges were a real battle. Wow. Amazing and so inspiring!

1. This dude, I don't remember who, but he was almost done the chipper WOD with the lunges. The time was running out and he just couldn't do one more rep of the lunges! He got 2 NO REPS at the finish line! and then with like 3 seconds left he got it done ! It was amazing!!!!
1. Danielle Goldman, killing it on her chest to bar pull-ups, after being last to finish those really high wall balls. You were going so fast and you were so efficient. And then we all saw the blood on your bar and we knew you would get through them even with bloody hands! And then you had to finish the weekend with gripping fat bars and stuff! I want to be just like you when I grow up! You are awesome and you did amazing and you did this weekend with a smile on your face! Congrats lady!

1. Watching Camille hit her second world record on the same day in the rope climb, squat clean event was absolutely insane! This girl can move and she can move fast! Holy crap! Congrats Camille, you are a true athlete! I'm pretty sure you inspired more then one girl out there!
1. Mike Deboever, winning his heat after a bad finish in the first workout on sunday. He then went on and pushed and encouraged all the other athletes out there. Wow! Great job Mike!

1. Jenn Lymburner... I had tears in my eyes seeing you trying and trying and trying to get those squat cleans done on the last event of the weekend! And when all the girls gathered around you and the crowd joined in to help you get them done, it was a beautiful crossfit moment. You did amazing and you impressed a couple people out there!!! You did amazing!

Need I say more? The weekend was awesome! I couldn't of asked for a better one! Now I'm inspired! WOW! Good job to every single athlete out there, just competing is a true act of strength! You all went through pain, mental pain, and soreness and did the work!
I already cannot wait for next years weekend of regionals!
